The Meteorological Department announced, in a special bulletin, heavy thunderstorms affecting several states in the north of the country, starting Thursday evening.
The Meteorological Bulletin stated that each of the states of Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Guelma, and Souk Ahras will witness significant thunderstorms, amounts ranging between 20 and 40 mm, while reaching or exceeding 50 mm locally, starting today, Thursday, at six in the evening, until tomorrow, Friday, at nine in the morning.
In the same context, the same authorities warned of heavy rain in the states of Mostaganem, Chlef, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Relizane, Ain Defla, Blida, Medea, Bouira, Tissemsilt, and northern Tiaret, with amounts ranging between 20 and 30 mm, starting today, Thursday at eleven o’clock at night, until tomorrow, Friday, at nine o’clock in the morning.
In another special bulletin, meteorologists predicted heavy rain in the states of Tlemcen, Ain Temouchent, Oran, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, and Mascara, with amounts ranging between 20 and 30 mm, starting tomorrow, Friday, at three in the morning, until twelve o’clock in the afternoon.
The meteorological services also called on citizens to exercise caution and caution, especially in the areas concerned with Al-Nashraya, to avoid any emergency that may be caused by weather fluctuations.
