The National Meteorological Office reported in a special bulletin, today, Monday, that the northern states of the country will witness a new and strong weather disturbance starting Tuesday morning, represented by cloudy weather and significant rainfall that will continue until Thursday, with snowfall recorded on the eastern and interior highlands.
According to digital bulletin data, the amounts of rain will intensify starting in the evening, and may exceed 60 mm, especially in the states of Oran, Chlef, Relizane, Mostaganem, Ain Defla and Tipaza, before extending on Wednesday morning to the central and eastern regions.
While the weather remains cold and seasonal, with temperatures ranging between 7 and 10 degrees in the north during the night and morning, and between 5 and 15 degrees in the south, while during the day it reaches between 12 and 19 degrees in the north and 15 to 32 degrees in the south. The sea will be turbulent to rough, with wind gusts that may exceed 60 km/h and waves exceeding 3 metres.
In the same context, the meteorological services called on citizens to exercise caution, especially road users and residents of areas affected by precipitation and snow.
