Harnessing important capabilities to address the effects of weather fluctuations via roads – New Algeria

The Ministry of Public Works and Basic Facilities has deployed significant human and material means to ensure the continuity of transportation and mobility, across the various states affected by the recent weather fluctuations.

A statement from the Ministry stated that the tires and agents of the various state and Algerian public works directorates were deployed for the highways, in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Public Works and Basic Installations, Abdelkader Glaoui, as the technical and maintenance teams began the operations of removing snow and opening roads, in addition to cleaning waterways and removing rain debris across the national and state road network, the source explains.

In Skikda Province, teams from the Public Works Directorate intervened to remove snow at the level of state roads No. 07 and 132 in the municipalities of Qanaoua and Al-Zaytouna in the Zaytouna district, where operations continue to open roads and ensure the movement of citizens in safe conditions.
