“Hamas” demands comprehensive political reform before the upcoming elections – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, during the Shura Council session, the Movement for Society for Peace called for serious political reform that guarantees public and individual freedoms, the independence of institutions, and the integrity of the electoral process, considering the upcoming elections an opportunity to renew political elites and institutions and promote reform.

In its statement, the Council stressed the necessity of adopting economic and social policies that meet the needs of citizens and protect their purchasing power.

While enhancing national security, combating hate speech and polarization, and consolidating societal cohesion.

The Council also appreciated the consistent Algerian positions towards the Palestinian issue and the rejection of normalization.

Emphasizing the movement’s rejection of unilateralism and hegemonic policies that threaten international peace and security.
