Dr. Ahmed Talib Al-Ibrahimi was born on 05-01-1932 in Setif in the Algerian East, and he practiced his primary education in the colonial school in the city of Tlemcen in 1937 AD, then in the Aflu in the Agouat and studied his preparatory and secondary stage at the Dislan secondary school.
Ibrahimi obtained a baccalaureate degree in June 1949, registered at the University of Algeria and studied medicine, then studied at the University of Paris 1954.
His struggle began before the outbreak of the revolution with the establishment of Al -Muslim newspaper in 1952, then joined the revolution in 1955 by heading the General Union of students of Algerian artists Ugma, where he came out of the activity of the fame of the Algerian revolution.
He joined the Federation of Liberation in France in 1956, then he was arrested while carrying out secret tasks in 1957, to be released after independence.
His first ministerial position during the era of the late President Houari Boumediene, he assumed the position of Minister of Education and Higher Education between the year (1965-1970), then Minister of Scientific Information (1970-1977), Minister of Advisor (1977-1979).
During the reign of the late President Al-Shazly bin Jadid, then he was inaugurated as an official advisor minister (1979-1982), then Minister of Foreign Affairs (1982-1988), and this is his last position.
Ahmed Talib Al -Ibrahimi is a thinker and writer, and he has many authorships that have found resonance with many scholars and academics.
