An informed Gulf source reported, on Monday, that Saudi air defenses intercepted Iranian missiles targeting Prince Sultan Air Base, which houses American military personnel near the capital, Riyadh, for the third day in a row.
The source, who preferred to remain anonymous due to the sensitivity of the issue, explained that the missiles were intercepted on Monday morning, as part of repeated targeting over the past few days.
Two witnesses in the Al-Kharj region, southeast of Riyadh, also reported hearing explosions this morning, without an immediate official statement being issued clarifying additional details regarding the incident.
