The establishment of the fund dates back to the year 2006, as it specializes in granting financial guarantees For banks In exchange for paying an amount of 0.5 percent of the loan value, in order to cover a large part of the potential risks in the event of non -payment, which contributes to encouraging the financing of small and medium enterprises and facilitating their access to Loans.

Since the launch of its activity, the fund granted guarantees in favor of 5256 investment projects with a total value of guaranteed loans that exceeded 114 billion dinars until the end of 2024.

The value of the compensation recorded in the year 2024 amounted to 2.3 billion dinars, while the total total reached For compensation 8.6 billion dinars since the foundation of the fund.

In the field of digitization, during the 2024 the Fund continued to develop its new version of the e-garantie platform, which was launched in 2023 with the aim of improving the effectiveness of services provided to banks and financial institutions.

This platform allows bank partners immediately subscribing to the warranty with the exchange of all contractual documents electronically, including guarantee requests, payment schedules, bills and declaring forms.
