Exceptionally…exempting emerging institutions from these fees! – New Algeria

The Committee for Regulating and Supervising Stock Exchange Operations (COSOP) announced today, Sunday, in a joint statement with the Stock Exchange Management Company and the Algeria Settlement Company, the approval of an exceptional exemption from listing fees on the stock exchange for the benefit of emerging institutions for a period of three years (2026-2028).

The statement explained that this initiative falls within the framework of the efforts of public authorities aimed at developing emerging institutions, supporting entrepreneurship and encouraging innovation, by facilitating their access to financing through the financial market.

This initiative aims to facilitate startups’ access to the financial market and enhance their attractiveness, by contributing to meeting their financing needs by providing appropriate access conditions, especially through the “Growth” section dedicated to this category of institutions.

In this context, it was decided to adopt an exceptional incentive mechanism, which is to exempt institutions holding the “Emerging Company” label from listing fees on the stock exchange, provided that they resort to financing through the “Growth” section of the Transferable Values ​​Exchange, during the period extending from 2026 to 2028.

This exemption includes fund raising operations whose amount does not exceed 500 million dinars, completed starting from February 1, 2026.

The concerned institutions benefit from a complete exemption from the visa fees on the information document collected by “COSOP”, and the admission fees in the official quotation of the Algerian Stock Exchange collected by the Stock Exchange, in addition to the fees for preserving, managing and managing the bonds collected by the Algeria Settlement Company.

Through this initiative, the relevant bodies confirm their commitment to supporting the growth of emerging enterprises and encouraging the adoption of the financial market within an integrated financing system to support emerging enterprises.
