ES Setif moves away from the danger zone – New Algeria

ES Setif club moved away from the danger zone of the national professional football championship, after its victory, yesterday evening, Saturday, at the end of the 21st round of the competition.

ES Setif achieved a valuable victory against its guest, Esperance Mostaganem, with a score of 3-0, yesterday evening, Saturday, for Round 21 For the championship of the first professional football league “Mobilis”, at a time when Mustaqbal Al-Ruwaisat settled for a draw (1-1) inside its bases against Olympique Chlef.

After a “difficult and complicated” start to the season due to poor results, ES Setif relatively moved away from the teams threatened with collapse, deepening in the same context the wounds of Esperance Mostaganem.

After the end of the first half in a goalless draw, “Al-Wefaq” was able to achieve what was most important during the second half thanks to Boukarma (62nd minute) from a penalty kick and Zerrougui in the 69th minute, before their colleague Hamidi concluded the goal festival in stoppage time (90th minute + 4th).

Thanks to this victory, ES Setif has recovered somewhat, as it now ranks eighth (26 points) in the standings. Championship along with CS Belouizdad, which has been deficient in four matches, while Terje Mostaganem continues to be in the danger zone, where it occupies 15th place with 14 points.

For its part, the Russian club settled for a draw within its own rules against its guest, Olympique Chlef (1-1). The hosts opened the scoring through player Ben Khaira (45th minute), before the visitors equalized the balance in the 51st minute thanks to Avoutur.

Following this draw, Mustaqbal Al-Ruwaisat is ranked sixth (27 points) with Najm Ben Aknoun, while Olympique de Chlef is ranked 13th (22 points).

In another match that took place yesterday, Saturday, Olympique Akbou returned with victory from its trip to Khenchela against Al-Ittihad Local Club with a score of 1-0. The only goal in the match was scored during the course of the second half by the player Labidi (53rd minute).

Following this victory, Olympique Agbo rises to fourth place (32 points), while USK Khenchela ranks tenth (25 points) equally with JS Kabylie and USM Alger.
