The President of the Republic: Qatari investment of 117 thousand hectares and Italian investment of 36 thousand hectares – New Algeria

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, revealed, while chairing a meeting of the Council of Ministers, that Qatari investment was estimated at 117 thousand hectares, followed by Italy with 36 thousand hectares, while the area exploited within the framework of national investment was estimated at 120 thousand hectares.

During the Cabinet meeting, the President of the Republic also stressed the need to involve farmers in raising awareness to improve productivity, provided that it is not less than 55 quintals per hectare.

President Tebboune highlighted the need to deepen the study of the electricity connection project between the north and south of the country. While studying the possibility of strengthening the network with Bashar, Adrar, Ouargla, and Saleh
President Tebboune also granted approval to conclude a deal by mutual consent to establish a university hospital center in Tizi Ouzou with 500 beds.
The Cabinet statement included that the deal was concluded between the Kosidar Complex and the Ministry of Housing to begin the works after completing the studies.
