Eliminating Moroccan smugglers and seizing 49 kg of kif in Beni Ounif – Algerian Al-Hawar newspaper

Detachments managed to People’s National ArmyYesterday evening, Friday, in the Beni Ounif region of the 3rd Military Region, two smugglers of Moroccan nationality were eliminated, who were about to introduce a quantity of processed kif into the national territory.

A statement issued by Ministry of National Defence The seized quantity was estimated at 49 kilograms of processed kif, indicating that the identity of one of the smugglers had been identified, namely Ben Douda Abdel Qader.

The statement stressed that this operation falls within the framework of the continuing efforts of units of the People’s National Army stationed across various parts of the country, to confront drug smuggling attempts and protect national borders.

The same source added that these operations reflect the armed forces’ vigilance in confronting attempts to introduce drugs across the western border, in order to preserve the country’s security and the safety of citizens.
