Eastern Mining Line: Glaoui orders delivery of the project within the specified deadlines – New Algeria

The Minister of Public Works and Basic Installations, Abdelkader Glaoui, stressed the necessity of handing over the eastern railway mine project within the specified deadlines, during his inspection For the Eastern Mine Line Project In the states of Souk Ahras, Guelma and El Tarf

From the state of Souk Ahras, see Minister of Works Bridge No. 42 and tunnel exits No. 7 and 9 in the municipality of Whelan, where he reviewed the progress of completion and the extent of adherence to the technical standards and schedule specified for the project.

In the same mandate, Glaoui reviewed the construction work of Bridge No. 36 in the municipality of Souk Ahras, with a length of 2.9 km. The Minister expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the pace of work and the Achievement Foundation pledged to deliver the project within the specified deadlines.

Within the same project, in the state of Guelma, which the mining line crosses at a distance of 54 km, the Minister inspected two workshops for the completion of two giant bridges No. 4 and 5, extending respectively to a length of 350.7 meters and 445.2 metres.

The Minister also observed the progress of another workshop in the heart of the mountain range of the Beni Saleh Mountains, where approximately 400 major construction machines are working on cutting the corridor in the middle of the mountains and leveling the ground designated for laying the railway.

Gallawi praised the efforts made by the contractors and the good dynamism witnessed by the pace of completion on each of the two giant bridges, as well as the work of constructing the track in this section despite the difficult terrain, highlighting the necessity of supporting the workshops with the necessary material and human capabilities to ensure the receipt of the project within the specified deadlines.

In the state of Al-Tarf, the Minister of Public Works reviewed the progress of the project with regard to gravel stabilization works on the path of the eastern mine line of the railway in the state’s territory.
