The civil protection services recorded several interventions across the various states of the country following the recent weather fluctuations, including operations related to incidents of falling residential walls, electrical poles, and absorption of rainwater, according to what a statement from the same authorities reported today, Wednesday.
The Civil Protection Services explained in their statement that, as a result of the recent weather fluctuations, an operation was recorded in the municipality of Beni Zantis in the state of Relizane, to recover the body of a child who was found on the edge of Wadi Al-Rawahiya, while an intervention was made in the state of Ain Temouchent, in order to provide first aid and transport a person injured at the head level as a result of aluminum sheets falling due to the wind.
In the same context, intervention was carried out in the municipality of Ramchi, in the state of Tlemcen, following the fall of an electric pole in the Sidi Ahmed neighborhood, without recording human casualties, while recording in the municipality of Chtouane, a partial fall of a residential wall on a car, causing it to partially collapse, without recording human casualties. As for the state of Chlef, specifically in the municipality of Ain Merane, intervention was made to absorb rainwater from inside 7 commercial shops and a residence, while in the state of Medea, a partial collapse of an external wall of a residence located in the municipality of Al-Barouqia was recorded.
Civil protection agents in the Aziz municipality also intervened to prevent a tree from falling in the middle of the city without recording any casualties, while providing assistance to 10 people to cross a bridge due to the high level of the Bokmori Valley.
