The Ministry of the Interior issued strict instructions and directives to accelerate the completion and equipping of new educational institutions, in anticipation of the next school entry, stressing the need to adhere to completion deadlines, respect applicable technical standards, and ensure the quality of the works, in addition to accelerating the completion of equipping the new educational institutions with school furniture and the necessary pedagogical equipment.
The Ministry of the Interior, Local Governments and Transport said in a statement: “Within the framework of advance preparation for school entry for the 2026/2027 school season, local authorities across the nation’s states continue their efforts to follow up on projects for the completion of educational institutions aimed at ensuring the full readiness of educational structures.”
The Ministry’s statement added that this process, which comes in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Al-Saeed Saeed, includes “organizing periodic field outings and holding coordination meetings to determine the progress of the completion of school complexes, middle and high schools in various neighborhoods and new residential complexes, especially those programmed to enter into service during the next academic season.”
In this context, this effort aims, according to the same statement, “to accommodate the recorded increase in the number of students, and to ensure a balanced distribution of them among educational institutions, allowing to reduce pressure on departments and improve teaching conditions.”
In this regard, it was emphasized, according to the same statement, “the necessity of adhering to completion deadlines, respecting applicable technical standards, and ensuring the quality of the works, in addition to accelerating the completion of equipping new educational institutions with school furniture and the necessary pedagogical equipment.”
