Derbal stresses the need to use used water treated in watering – New Algeria

Stretch Minister of IrrigationTaha Derbal, today, Wednesday, from the state of Timimon, on the necessity of exploiting the used water in the watering of the old palm oases to expand and resurrect them again.

Derbal confirmed, during a working visit and inspected the state, that the liquidation station that was launched today, its flow rate, reaches more than 13,000 m3 per day and is equipped with the liquidation laboratories according to the triple treatment, to water the various agricultural crops without restriction, including old palm oases.

Mention Minister The completion of the filtering station falls within the framework of reducing the spread of mobile diseases through water, environmental protection and citizen health.

Upon listening to a presentation around his sector in the state, the minister valued the efforts of the state in the field of water resources in terms of the rate of supply and linking the population with drinking water and the disinfection network, as he gave instructions to complete studies to link all estuaries to the filter stations.

He added that the aim of the operation is to exploit water in agricultural watering according to an economic approach to contribute to the establishment of new agricultural oceans for the benefit of the region’s youth and to provide them with the water of the used water filtering station within the framework of valuing water resources and preserving groundwater.

The minister continues his inspection visit by launching other sectoral projects in the various municipalities of the state and examining the project to restore the large vertebrae of the Municipality of Al -Maktarifa (120 km south of Timimimon).
