Cristiano acquires a percentage of ownership of a Spanish club

Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo invested part of his wealth in acquiring 25 percent of the shares of Almeria Club, active in the Spanish Second Division.
The Andalusian club management shared the news with its fans, Thursday, through an official statement.
This season, Alimeria is competing to return to the elite league “La Liga”, where it occupies third place in the overall standings, two points behind leaders Racing Santander.
Through his foundation, CR7 Sports Investment, Cristiano Ronaldo invested his money in the investment project led by the leading advertising media group, owned by the Saudi businessman Mohammed Al-Khuraiji.
The former Real Madrid top scorer confirmed that the club has a solid base capable of growing in the future.
Ronaldo is known for his interest in business, as he owns several investments in the fields of hotel, sports and advertising.
The Saudi Al-Nasr striker has connected a network of relationships at the highest level in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since his move from Manchester United to Al-Nassr at the end of 2022.
He placed Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the winner of five Golden Balls, at the forefront of the huge sports project that the Kingdom proceeded with under the name “Vision 2030.”
Cristiano has become the first ambassador for sports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is about to organize the 2034 World Cup.
Earlier, Prince Mohammed bin Salman accompanied Ronaldo as part of a high-level delegation during his visit to the United States of America, one of the three countries organizing the 2026 World Cup.
The Portuguese star, who won the 2016 European Nations Cup, had the opportunity to meet US President Donald Trump.
