Constitutional cooperation on the horizon between Algeria and China – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Wednesday, the President of the Algerian Constitutional Court, Leila Asalaoui, received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Algeria, Dong Guangli, on a courtesy visit devoted to discussing prospects for enhancing cooperation in the field of constitutional justice.

A court statement explained that the meeting was an occasion to emphasize the depth and strength of the historical relations between Algeria and China, and to praise the quality of the existing partnership between the two countries in various fields.

Strengthening cooperation in constitutional justice

The two sides discussed ways to develop effective cooperation in the field of constitutional justice, spreading constitutional culture, and consolidating the principles of good governance, within the framework of supporting the state of law.

For his part, the Chinese ambassador praised the reforms initiated by the Algerian state to strengthen the foundations of the rule of law, considering them an essential pillar for achieving growth and stability at the economic and social levels.
