Climate change and environmental challenges are the focus of the government meeting

During its meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Seifi Gharib, the government studied many important points, most notably confronting the effects of climate change and environmental challenges, a draft of the conditions and modalities for practicing audiovisual production, in addition to the mechanisms for taking care of paramedic children.

This Wednesday, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s interests, the Prime Minister, Seifi Gharib, chaired a government meeting devoted to studying several points, including studying the draft executive decree containing the conditions and modalities for practicing audiovisual production and filming audiovisual works, which falls within the framework of completing the issuance of applied texts related to the provisions of the law related to audiovisual activity.

This draft text would allow the development of an integrated regulatory framework for practicing the activity of audiovisual production and filming of audiovisual works, and would also allow the integration of digital solutions and means into the process of filing and processing relevant applications.

On the other hand, the government listened to a presentation regarding the mechanisms and programs proposed for responsible and sustainable care for paramedic children over the age of 18. This relates to a category of people whom the public authorities are working on developing a special framework to care for and accompany them towards achieving independence and sustainable professional and social integration without obstacles.

The government also listened to a presentation on the National Climate Adaptation Plan, which constitutes a strategic tool aimed at strengthening Algeria’s ability to confront the effects of climate change and environmental challenges. For this purpose, the plan identifies the impacts on water resources, agriculture, health, and ecosystems, and also provides practical tools such as risk mapping and local adaptation plans.
