Today, the General Directorate of Civil Protection called on citizens to exercise caution and caution until the announcement of the end of the period of validity of the special weather bulletin, which warned of strong winds affecting several states of the country.
She explained in her statement that the interventions of the civil protection services, following the effects of strong winds, included more than 29 states across the national territory, where they harnessed the necessary human and material means to take care of the recorded situations.
The same departments indicated that most of the interventions consisted of removing fallen trees that obstructed traffic, in addition to removing poles, electrical cables, and large advertising banners, in addition to recording a number of interventions related to partial collapses of the walls of old buildings.
The General Directorate of Civil Protection also renewed its call on citizens to adhere to safety instructions and avoid unnecessary movements during the period of weather fluctuations, in order to preserve their safety.
