The midfielder appeared in a video clip, carrying the red and black scarf inside the stronghold of the Red Devils, where he began his career four years ago after coming from Real Madrid.
Casemiro said: “This is not the time to say goodbye. We still have a lot to fight for together. My full focus will be, as you promised me, on doing everything in my power to help the club achieve success.”
He added: “Manchester United will remain in my heart for the rest of my life. Since my first day at Old Trafford, I have felt the great passion and enthusiasm that characterizes the atmosphere of this wonderful stadium and the feelings of love that I share with the fans of this great club.”
“Cassie” represented the team that won 20 English Premier League titles. In 146 matches, he scored 21 goals.
The Brazilian won two titles in the four seasons he spent within the walls of the Red Castle, the first was the League Cup in 2023 and the second was the FA Cup in 2024.
