The Algiers State Security statement stated, on Wednesday evening, that the interests of the mobile division of the Judicial Police in Bab Ezzouar, affiliated with the security of the Administrative District of Casablanca, had managed last week to dismantle a criminal network consisting of three people in the case of trafficking in psychotropic substances, with the seizure of more than 6 thousand capsules of psychotropic substances.
The same authorities added that this specific operation was carried out after extensive field investigations that enabled investigators to uncover the activity of a criminal network specialized in illicit trafficking in psychotropic substances, so that its members could be identified and arrested successively, along with the seizure of this quantity of toxins hidden inside the suspects’ homes.
