Boughali receives the Egyptian ambassador and the agreement to “enhance the dynamism of parliamentary exchange” – New Algeria

Today, Monday, the President of the National People’s Assembly, Ibrahim Boghali, received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Algeria, Abdel Latif Al-Layeh, in a meeting that falls within the framework of strengthening fraternal relations and parliamentary consultation between the two brotherly countries, according to a statement by the Council.

According to the same statement, during the meeting, Boghali expressed his satisfaction with the success of the parliamentary elections witnessed by the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially the election of a new speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, stressing in the same context the openness of the National People’s Assembly to all initiatives aimed at promoting parliamentary cooperation and establishing coordination between the legislative institutions in the two countries.

The President of the Council praised the strength of the diplomatic relations between Algeria and Egypt, and the continuous understanding and coordination that distinguishes them, stressing the depth of the fraternal ties that bring together the two brotherly peoples, which constitute a solid base for further rapprochement and cooperation in various fields.

Bugali also stressed the need to advance bilateral cooperation to broader levels, through developing economic and cultural partnership, and expanding the horizons of cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research, in a way that serves common interests and enhances integration between the two countries.

For his part, Ambassador Abdel Latif Al-Layeh expressed his great pleasure at visiting the National People’s Assembly and meeting with its president, praising the strength of Algerian-Egyptian relations and their historical depth, and stressing the regional role played by the two countries in a way that reflects their status and weight in their surroundings.

In the same context, the Ambassador appreciated the strong statements of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during his recent press meeting, noting the wide positive response they received in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which was embodied in the Egyptian President’s quick interaction through a tweet in which he reaffirmed the strength of the relations that bind the two countries.
