Boughali receives the Ambassador of Venezuela – New Algeria

President received National People’s AssemblyIbrahim Boughali, today, Wednesday, at the Council’s headquarters, the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Imad Saab, who paid him a courtesy visit following his appointment as his country’s ambassador to Algeria, within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between Algeria and Venezuela and expanding the horizons of parliamentary and diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.
It took place during the meeting – according to Council statement– Discussing ways to develop bilateral relations and enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two legislative institutions, in addition to exchanging views on a number of issues of common interest, which contributes to consolidating the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Algerian and Venezuelan peoples.
By the way, Bugali stressed the importance of parliamentary diplomacy as an effective mechanism to support continuous consultation between the two countries, stressing the role of Parliament in keeping pace with international and regional issues related to the interests of the two peoples. He also stressed the need to develop economic cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, he expressed Venezuelan Ambassador He expressed his happiness at receiving him at the headquarters of the National People’s Assembly, stressing his deep appreciation for the existing cooperation between Algeria and Venezuela, and his country’s keenness to strengthen relations in various fields for the benefit of the two peoples. He also stressed the importance of activating the role of the parliamentary friendship group between the parliaments of the two countries, as a practical framework for enhancing consultation and exchanging experiences.
