Boudaoui was unsuccessful when he returned to participate with Nice

The Algerian international, Hicham Boudaoui, regained his place in the main roster of the Nice club on the occasion of welcoming Rennes, for the 25th round of the French League championship.
Boudaoui participated for 45 minutes, then coach Claude Puel replaced him with his colleague Kyle Budach at the start of the second half.
Nice suffered a heavy defeat at the Allianz Riviera Stadium, amounting to four goals to none, against the team supervised by its former coach, Frank Hayes.
Boyle inserted Hicham Boudaoui alongside Belgian Charles Vanhout and Frenchman Morgan Sanson in the middle of the field.
Like most of Nice’s elements, the Desert Warrior’s performance did not live up to the required level.
The French newspaper L’Equipe described Boudaoui as the weakest element on the field, giving him a rating of 2 out of 10 after the confrontation.
The Paradou Athletic Academy graduate recently returned from a back injury, as the coach dropped his name from the team list during the Paris FC match, which Nice lost 1-0.
The southern French team is suffering in terms of results this season, as it achieved six victories in the league compared to 13 defeats and six draws.
Nice hired his former coach, Claude Puel, to replace Hayes last December, but he has faced great difficulties in finding the necessary solutions so far.
Nice won once in nine matches in the “Ligue 1” framework, which led to its decline in the general classification table, where it occupies 14th place, five points away from the first one in danger of falling (Auxerre).
