Bin Nasser warns of the difficulty of confronting the Democratic Congo – the new Algeria

Ismail Bennacer, the midfielder for the Algerian national football team, warned of the difficulty of facing the Democratic Republic of Congo, tomorrow evening, Tuesday, for the round of 16 of the 2025 African Cup of Nations.

He continued, “This tournament is competitive and all teams are balanced. There are many teams that can reach the end, and all the teams that exited were eliminated from the tournament with a small goal difference.”
He continued: “The teams that were candidates to pass have problems in the matches from their competitors, and we must be flexible in order to win against Congo.”
In a related context, Bin Nasser enumerated the characteristics of his young colleague Ibrahim Mazza, the star of the German club Bayer Leverkusen, when he said about him: “He is a young and talented player who adds to the team on and off the field, and I hope that he will contribute to us winning the matches. He is gaining experience and maturity by participating in this tournament.”
Bin Nasser spoke about the national team captain, Riyad Mahrez, “Riyad is a leader and a role model, and he shows this to all the players on the field. I am happy to play alongside him, and I hope he continues to help the team as he always does.”
The Algerian star expressed his desire to win the Cup of Nations title again, “We won the 2019 African Cup title, and we are seeking to win another title, and we will make every effort to reach the furthest stage.”
