Bin Jameh: We have morals and legitimacy, and stop the aggression against Gaza is an urgent necessity

The permanent representative of Algeria to the United Nations, Ammar bin Jameh, affirmed that Algeria’s position is clear and consistent, as “our compass is directed towards one direction, which is morality, legitimacy and solidarity with everyone who suffers.”

During his speech before the Security Council in the session devoted to the situation in Palestine, Bin Jameh explained that what matters to Algeria today is to shed light on the tragedy of Gaza, as the brutality reached a level that the human mind cannot imagine due to the practices of the Israeli occupation.

The permanent actor indicated that Algeria was and still calls for an immediate, permanent and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza, as it is the only way to end the humanitarian catastrophe experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip.

He added that this tragedy is not a result of today, but rather a result of a systematic Israeli policy based on killing and destruction, based on impunity and enjoying an unjustified immunity on the international scene.
