This came during the Minister’s supervision, yesterday, Wednesday, at the Ministry’s headquarters, of the launch of a series of evaluation meetings allocated to the local executive directors of the sector across the various states of the country, within the framework of a planned work program that includes four states daily, with the aim of conducting a comprehensive assessment of the outcome of achievement and determining the level of progress. These meetings fall within the context of strict periodic follow-up of the level of implementation of housing programs in their various forms and public equipment projects, in addition to urban development operations across various states and strengthening oversight and coordination mechanisms between the central administration and local departments, ensuring accelerating the pace of completion and improving the effectiveness of field performance.
The minister stressed that the next stage requires “doubling field efforts, accelerating the pace of achievement, respecting contractual deadlines, devoting digital sovereignty as a fundamental pillar in the sector’s strategy, and combating all forms of bureaucracy and administrative inertia,” according to the statement.
