Attaf receives the Belarusian Foreign Minister to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation – Algerian Dialogue

Today, Wednesday, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, who is on an official visit to Algeria.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the two ministers held a private meeting, followed by an expanded meeting with the participation of the delegations of the two countries, during which the reality and prospects of bilateral cooperation were evaluated, especially in the context of commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Algeria and Belarus.

The two sides stressed the importance of building on the positive results of the first session of the joint committee held last April, and working to advance Algerian-Belarusian relations to higher levels, in preparation for the upcoming high-level bilateral meetings.
