This is new higher education – New Algeria

Yesterday, Thursday in Algiers, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, supervised the signing of twinning and partnership agreements between… Algerian universities University of Genoa and the Economic, Financial and Financial Development Agency of the Liguria Region, Italy.

This concerns the universities of Medea, Ouargla, Tlemcen, Oran 1, Constantine 3, and the University of Tlemcen. Houari Boumediene For Science and Technology in Bab Ezzouar and the National Polytechnic School in El Harrach.

In his speech on the occasion, Badari explained that these agreements aim to “enhance cooperation and exchange in the field of research and transfer of expertise in the field of entrepreneurship, emerging institutions and business incubators, while encouraging mobility between the two sides for the benefit of the components of the university family.”

He added that these agreements will enable “the establishment of joint academic tracks, preparation for certificates and dual professional tracks, as well as the organization of joint summer universities.”

In the field of activating innovation, entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship, these agreements will open – as he said – the door to “embracing joint student projects in order to prepare for the creation of emerging, medium and small enterprises, with the establishment of business incubators and entrepreneurship development centres, all based on the pioneering Algerian and Italian experiences in this field.”

For his part, the President of the University of Genoa, Federico Delfino, highlighted his institution’s openness to expanding scientific cooperation, especially with countries in the southern Mediterranean basin, noting the cooperation that brings together Algeria and Italy in the fields of higher education and programs of innovation and creativity.
