The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Ataf, today in New York, held talks with the high advisor to the President of the United States of America for Africa, Massad Paul.
According to a ministry statement, the meeting was an opportunity to review the increasing momentum witnessed by Algerian -American relations. Either with regard to strategic dialogue, the multiple -sided -ends between the two countries. Or with regard to the rich economic partnership that they are developing.
The talks also allowed the continued consultation between the two parties on the most important regional issues of common concern. In particular, those that fall within the tasks assigned to the US President’s Adviser.
For reference, this meeting was held, on the sidelines of the high -level part of the United Nations General Assembly.
