The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Ataf, today in New York, held talks with the Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, on the sidelines of his participation in the works of the high -level part of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting was an opportunity to exchange views on the increasing challenges facing the international organization, and ways to enhance the international multilateral work system to serve the issues of peace and development.
The talks also dealt with the current international and regional conditions, foremost of which are developments related to the Palestinian issue, and the issue of colonial liquidation in Western Sahara, as well as security and political developments in the desert coast region.
