Algerians stand on the lookout for his terrorist plans
The Kabylie region is an integral and inseparable part of Algeria

The setbacks and resounding downfalls of the terrorist movement “MAK” continue, as the latest developments came to tighten the noose on this movement, which seeks through its malicious plan to disperse the people of one country. But no matter what, the statements issued by many political parties and formations denouncing this organization and the stand of all Algerians in the face of its miserable attempts confirm the national consensus that Algeria is one united and no one can attempt to divide it.
France shakes its hands of the “Mac”
In this context, France dealt a strong blow to the terrorist organization by rejecting a meeting that was scheduled to be organized yesterday, as an indication that this country is heading to abandon its support for this false entity.
Yesterday, the French authorities announced a ban on the meeting that the Kabylie Secession Movement (MAK) intended to organize in Paris, under the pretext of declaring the region’s independence from Algeria.
The authorities of the Yvelines region in Paris surprised the MAC movement by issuing a decree prohibiting the holding of the ceremony declaring the independence of the Kabylie region, which was scheduled to be held at the Palais des Congrès in Versailles, and informed the decision to the head of the movement, Farhat Mohani.
The authorities of the Yvelines region in central Paris had informed the leadership of the separatist movement of the decision to prevent the celebration from being held, and the decision was based on security reasons, for fear of a slide in the situation or the occurrence of clashes between supporters and those who rejected the “MAC” movement’s move, especially in light of the refusal of the Algerian community residing in France to make this announcement.
“The MAC” is a terrorist group trying to undermine the stability of Algeria
For its part, the Movement for Society for Peace expressed its strong condemnation and absolute rejection of the dangerous slides and desperate maneuvers issued by the “MAK” entity, classified as a terrorist entity, and the secessionist claim it is promoting.
The movement considered, in a statement, that “what this terrorist group has committed is a nihilistic act that is politically, socially and legally invalid, and a clear assault on the national social contract that unites all components of the Algerian people, and falls within plans to divide and dismantle national unity and undermine the stability of Algeria, in the service of hostile external agendas linked to colonial backgrounds and functional projects.”
Hamas stressed that “these actions do not in any way express the true will of the residents of the Mujahideen tribes region, who constitute an essential component of national unity and sincere belonging to the homeland.” She added, “This organization’s attempt to hijack the voice of the region is a falsification of history, and a betrayal of the sacrifices of the martyrs and mujahideen. The Amazigh identity is an authentic and comprehensive component of the Algerian personality. It cannot be used in projects of sedition and division.”
“The MAC” is a foreign group that sold itself to the Zionist entity
In turn, the Secretary-General of the Labor Party, Louisa Hanoun, confirmed that the so-called “Mac” is a foreign group alien to Algeria that has sold itself to the Zionist entity and the henchmen of the Emirati entity and the store, who want to sabotage Algeria and sow discord.
In a speech at the party’s national headquarters, Hanoun explained that this group’s effort to “establish a tribal state” falls within the framework of the “American Greater and New Middle East” plan, to dismantle all the homelands from Pakistan to Mauritania.
The leader of the Workers’ Party added that citizens in the tribal states are the last concern of this group, because their goal with regard to Algeria is the underground wealth found in the Greater South, as well as the basic facilities of roads and others that allow the transfer of these wealth.
“Although this group does not have any extension within Algerian society in general and the tribal states in particular,” the party’s Secretary-General adds, “this plan should not be ignored even if it has no legal basis because its efforts are to blackmail the Algerian state to obtain concessions in the economic, military, and foreign policy fields.”
No to separating the tribal region…
On the other hand, the Chairman of the JS Kabylie Board of Directors, Al-Hadi Ould Ali, affirmed his categorical opposition to any project aimed at separating the Kabylie region from the rest of the national territory, reiterating his adherence to Algeria’s unity and sovereignty.
In a statement he published in his capacity as a former official in the Berber Cultural Movement, Ould Ali responded to the calls made by the “MAK” movement, which is classified as terrorist, and which threatens national unity and pushes towards rejected separatist projects.

For her part, Malika Matoub, the sister of Lounes Matoub, rejected attempts to use her brother’s name in the separatist discourse adopted by the terrorist “MAK”, stressing that this proposal is completely inconsistent with his declared convictions and positions.
In her statements, Malika Matoub stressed that Lounes was a rebel fighter in his ideas, but he remained loyal to the unity of Algeria, considering that linking his name to any separatist project is a falsification of history and an insult to the memory of an artist who fought for his homeland. She stressed in this context that the fighter cannot be a traitor.
The spokeswoman highlighted that the only case that Lounes Matoub filed during his life and won was against Farhat Mhenni before the French judiciary, considering this evidence of the depth of the dispute between the two parties, and how far Lounes is from the proposal that Mhenni is promoting today.
Malika Matoub touched on what she described as a deliberate misinterpretation of some of her brother’s songs, explaining that the phrase “ad cerreg tamurt” does not mean “tearing apart the nation,” as is rumored, but rather refers to roaming throughout the country,” stressing that the late artist’s artistic discourse cannot be extracted from its cultural and national context.
In a related context, Lounes’s sister accused the leader of the “MAK” movement of serving foreign agendas hostile to Algeria, directing a call to tribal families to protect their children from engaging in paths that she described as dangerous, in which the youth group may be exploited to serve projects that are not related to the interest of the nation.
Malika Matoub reiterated that defending the Amazigh language was, for Lounas Matoub, part of his struggle within the framework of the national state, and not a gateway to division or secession, stressing that Algerianism was and will remain the unifying framework for all components of identity.
She concluded her statements by emphasizing that Lounes defended all of Algeria, while Farhat Mhenni is promoting a project that does not exist except in discourse.
Meanwhile, participants in a civil society meeting organized in the state of Bejaia reiterated their “fundamental” adherence to national unity, denouncing all attempts aimed at compromising the country’s territorial integrity.
Algeria is a “united and indivisible” country
Local elected figures, writers, artists and civil society activists confirmed in their interventions during this meeting, which was organized at the main library for public reading “Taher Amirouchen” at the initiative of the “Al-Amal Association for the Development of the State of Bejaia”, that Algeria is a “unified and indivisible” country and that the Kabylie region is an “integral part” of it.
In this regard, the head of the Municipal People’s Assembly of Dargina, Madjid Baqtash, pointed out that the people of Bejaia did not stop affirming the unity of Algeria, adding that “the biggest lesson we must remember today is the sacrifices of the martyrs in order to liberate the country from the yoke of colonialism.” He stressed that “the country that has lived through all these ordeals and shed the blood of the martyrs will never be for sale” and that “any attempt to divide this country is evidence of a denial of origin.”
In turn, the head of the Municipal People’s Assembly of the municipality of Tifra, Rabah Moqsem, stated that “the struggle that our fathers waged against colonialism over many years was for a united and indivisible Algeria.”
He added, “Today we live in diversity and unity, and no one has the right to dictate to us what we should do,” calling on Algerians for greater unity.
Algerians “have no doubt about the unity of the country”
The head of the state People’s Assembly, Bashir Barakat, also explained in his intervention during this meeting that the Algerians “have no doubt about the unity of the country.”
In the same context, the Amazigh writer and publisher, Ibrahim Tzaaghart, called on Algerians from different regions of the country to unite and cohesion, noting that “Algerians united during the national liberation war and nothing will prevent them today from doing the same thing.”
Members of the organizing association pointed out that this meeting represents a “strong and clear” message that “the Kabylie region will always remain an integral and inseparable part of Algeria.”
