Artificial intelligence for scientific research is a topic of discussion at “Liafsi” Bab Ezzouar – New Algeria

Ashraf, Director of the University of Continuing Formation, Didouche Murad “Layafsi” Yahya Jafari Yesterday, Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Bab Ezzouar Center, a training day was opened for the benefit of the center’s students about to graduate from all specializations, under the title “Artificial Intelligence Pillars for Scientific Research between Quality and Speed of Completion.”

The university director, in his intervention, spoke about the role required of the university within the framework of Ministerial Resolution 008 and the importance of directing most of the memorandums in this context, thanking the organizers for choosing this title and calling for more awareness and awareness of the importance of students’ involvement in the environment of innovation and entrepreneurship through their creation of economic institutions capable of generating wealth, creating job positions, and supporting the diversification of the national product.

For my life

The director of the university center in Bab Ezzouar, Professor Samir Ansal In a speech he gave on the occasion of the school day under the title “Artificial Intelligence Foundations for Scientific Research between Quality and Speed of Achievement.” It is a title that does not flatter or hide behind generalities, but rather puts our hands directly on the fundamental question: Are we researching to produce knowledge…or to achieve it quickly? Do we use artificial intelligence as an auxiliary tool…or as a substitute for reason and thought?

Ansal stressed that this study day comes in a very important scientific context, imposed by the accelerating digital transformation that the world is witnessing, and the accompanying strong emergence of artificial intelligence tools in various fields of knowledge, most notably scientific research.

He added, “Preparing a master’s thesis, a doctorate, or any scientific paper is no longer merely a fulfillment of methodological conditions. Rather, it has become a real bet on the quality of thinking, the integrity of documentation, and the researcher’s awareness of contemporary tools. Artificial intelligence, despite the speed of completion and facilitation of tasks it provides, also raises, in return, several fundamental questions related to scientific credibility, research ethics, and the role of the researcher himself between creativity and dependency.”

Noting from this standpoint, this school day was organized to be a scientific space for discussion, guidance, and training, in which professors and researchers meet with their students, with the aim of exchanging experiences, correcting paths, and providing students with sound methodological tools to prepare their memoirs in accordance with approved academic standards.

In conclusion, I would like to thank the intervening professors, who responded to the invitation to contribute with their knowledge and experience to enrich this day, those in charge of organizing it, and everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this scientific event.

We hope that this study day will be a useful scientific station, and the beginning of real awareness of the rational and responsible use of artificial intelligence in scientific research, in a way that ensures quality, preserves scientific integrity, and raises the level of university outputs.

It should be noted that the meeting witnessed a large and qualitative presence of professors, trainers, and students about to graduate, as most of the interventions focused on the conditions and methods for completing a graduation thesis – Economic Institution

He concluded by presenting a number of important recommendations, following a rich discussion with the students, in addition to distributing certificates to the supervising professors.
