Arkab receives a delegation from the Chinese company Huawei – Algerian Dialogue

The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received in Algiers a delegation from Huawei, led by the company’s Executive Vice President, Charles Young, where they discussed the possibilities of benefiting from the solutions provided by the Chinese company in the energy field, especially in new and renewable energies, according to a statement by the ministry. .

During this meeting, which took place at the Ministry’s headquarters, in the presence of representatives from both sides, “the state of cooperation relations between Huawei and energy sector companies and the prospects for enhancing them were discussed, especially in the field of developing new and renewable energies, such as solar photovoltaic energy and hydrogen development,” according to the same source.

After providing a detailed presentation on Huawei’s activities and its latest smart solutions for photovoltaic energy, the role of digital technology and modern techniques in developing and improving new sources of energy and increasing the efficiency of use was highlighted, especially with regard to energy storage systems, electricity transmission, and their integration into the national electrical grid and its management.

By the way, the Minister of Energy and Mines presented the main lines of cooperation, especially in the field of solutions developed by the latter in the field of modern technological solutions related to energy in general and solar photovoltaic energy in particular and its storage, similar to those in the south of the country, according to the statement.
