Araqchi: The United States and the Zionist entity are responsible for the insecurity in the region – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi, confirmed in a phone call with his French counterpart, Jean-Noel Barrot, that the main reason for insecurity in the Middle East region, including the Strait of Hormuz, is American policies and the Zionist entity.

Araqchi explained, according to Iranian media, that Iran is determined to defend its sovereignty and national security, stressing the need for countries to adopt responsible positions in the face of this situation. He stressed that the Iranian measures primarily target the military bases and installations of the aggressors in the region, and that they are not considered an attack on the countries of the region.

Regarding the situation in Lebanon, Araqchi pointed out that security in the region, including Lebanon, is directly linked to ending the Zionist occupation and stopping the ongoing aggression by this entity.
