An investigation committee by order of the President of the Republic in the July 5 Stadium incident – Algerian dialogue

By order of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdul Majeed Taboun, the establishment of an investigation committee was established, to determine the circumstances of the tragic accident that occurred yesterday evening, Saturday, at the July 5 stadium, which killed supporters, with the injury of others, according to what, on Sunday, a statement of the interests of the Prime Minister.

The statement stated: “In the wake of the tragic accident that occurred in the July 5 stadium yesterday evening, June 21, 2025, in which supporters of God have mercy on them and the hurry of the healing of the injured, and by order of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdul Majeed Taboun, an investigation committee was established, to determine the circumstances of this tragic accident and determine the aspects of palaces and responsibilities and hold those involved, while submitting its report at the earliest deadlines to take the necessary legal measures, To prevent the recurrence of these painful incidents. ”

And “this committee includes in particular representatives of the ministries of the Interior, Justice, Housing and Sports in addition to the competent departments of the National Gendarmerie Command, the General Directorate of National Security and the Technical Control Authority for buildings, and officials of the Mouloudia Algeria Club,” according to the same source.
