The Minister of State, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Ataf, today in New York, held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration and Tunisians abroad to the Tunisian Republic, Mohamed Ali Al -Tatri, on the sidelines of the conclusion of his participation in the works of the high -level part of the United Nations General Assembly in its eighties.
The meeting was an opportunity to review the most prominent axes of public debate and parallel activities for the General Assembly, especially those related to the Palestinian issue, promoting peace, and advancing development in the African continent, as central issues in the interests of the two countries.
The two ministers also touched on the various dimensions of the Algerian-Tunisian relations, and discussed ways to strengthen them, in line with the strategic vision of President Abdel Majid Taboun and President Qais Saeed, and aimed at upgrading bilateral cooperation towards broader levels of integration and partnership.
