An agreement of 480 million dollars to provide Africa markets with electrical equipment – new Algeria

The Convention was signed by the President, the General Manager of “GESB Electric”, Cubby Gilani Bashir, and the representative of “Sogolix” bSenegalTami Ibrahim, in the presence of the Director General of the Algerian Agency for the Promotion of Investment, Omar Rakash, and the Director of Trade, Investment and Financial Cooperation of the African Bank for Export and Import, Ayman Al -Zoghbi, along with the representative of the Algerian Economic Economic Council, Ali Umilal.

Under this agreement, the GESP will export electrical equipment with more than 300 million dollars for the benefit of “Sogolics” in Senegal and Cote d’Ivoire, and from there to markets Economic Group For West African countries (Sidiao), for three years.

The agreement also stipulates the embodiment of Industrial investments At $ 180 million in Senegal and Cote d’Ivoire in the field of electrical industries.

In a press statement, Cubby Gilani Bashir explained that the raw materials and technologies will be Algerian, while the company “Sogolex” will ensure management and distribution operations.

For his part, Mr. Tami highlighted that Algeria has a significant experience in the electrical industries, stressing that this cooperation represents an opportunity to expand it at a level ContinentEspecially since Africa knows an increasing demand in this field, which makes it necessary to create more factories in it.
