Algerian international player Mohamed El Amin Amoura surpassed Egyptian star Mohamed Salah in the struggle for the symbolic title of top scorer in the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ammoura topped the list of top scorers in the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, ahead of Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the English Liverpool FC star, who scored 9 goals, and Gabonese Denis Mwanga (8 goals).

It is noteworthy that Mohamed Lamine Amoura, 25 years old, scored 18 goals in 37 matches during his career with the Algerian national team.
