The housing sector in Algeria will witness future historical milestones

Algeria witnessed other operations to distribute housing in various forms across the various states of the country, while meetings were held for housing sector managers to follow up on the pace of completion of housing projects scheduled for distribution in future historical milestones.

The process of distributing 144,601 housing units in various forms continued across the various states of the country, to which the Minister of Housing, Urbanism, City and Urban Development, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, gave the signal to start their distribution from the state of Bejaia, coinciding with the celebration of the seventy-first anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Liberation Revolution.

The progress rate of this process, according to a statement by the Ministry, as of Saturday, November 15, reached 65.54 percent, which is equivalent to 94,781 housing units distributed out of the total number of housing units allocated for distribution on this historic occasion.

The housing distribution process affected many states, including the state of Adrar, in which 2,603 ​​housing units were distributed, at a rate of approximately 100 percent of the planned quota for distribution. Bashar, in which 2,153 housing units were distributed, at a rate of 100 percent of the planned quota, and Djelfa, in which 7,648 housing units were distributed, at a rate of approximately 100 percent.

Also, 3,263 housing units were distributed in the state of Sidi Bel Abbes, at a rate of 96 percent. Mostaganem: 1,726 housing units were distributed, at a rate of 63 percent. The state of Bordj Bou Arrerid, where 2,180 housing units were distributed, at a rate of 92 percent. The state of Khenchela, where 2,964 housing units were distributed, at a rate of 93 percent.

This process will continue until the total number estimated at 144,601 housing units scheduled for delivery is completed.

In another context, the executive directors of the housing sector began organizing field trips and meetings that included the states of Bashar, Khenchela, Bejaia, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Laghouat, El Oued, Oum El Bouaghi, Tissemsilt, Tiaret, Camp, M’Sila, Tizi Ouzou, Djanet, and Skikda.

These field meetings and outings were devoted to monitoring the pace of completion of housing projects scheduled for distribution in future historical stations, with a focus on removing all field obstacles to ensure the delivery of housing within the specified deadlines.
