Algeria’s future is built with trained minds and the will to work

Speaker of the National Assembly, Azouz Nasseri, affirmed that Algeria’s future is built with trained minds, solid skills, and a sincere will to work and produce.
Nasseri said, in his speech, during a parliamentary day, on the topic: (Vocational Education in Algeria: Reality and Prospects), that vocational education is one of the most important strategic bets that the state relies on in the path of construction, development and industry of the future, as it is an essential pillar of a productive, diversified and sustainable national economy, and a vital bridge linking the school and the production institution.
The Speaker of the National Assembly also highlighted that vocational education gives young people real opportunities to acquire practical skills that promote rapid integration into the labor market and encourage entrepreneurship and wealth creation, stressing that skill has become equivalent to, or even superior to, certification when combined with mastery and innovation, and that betting on it is a bet on social justice and reducing unemployment.
Nari appreciated the care given by the public authorities, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the vocational training and education sector through profound reforms that included modernizing programs, modernizing structures, and linking training to the needs of the national economy, especially in the strategic sectors, stressing that Algeria’s future is built with trained minds, solid skills, and a sincere will to work and produce.
The activities of the parliamentary day were opened under the supervision and supervision of Abdelhamid Boucharma, a member of the National Assembly, who explained at the opening of the parliamentary day’s activities that the latter addresses the reality of vocational education and training in Algeria and their prospects in light of the current transformations, by diagnosing the current situation, highlighting the challenges presented, and anticipating future stakes and prospects, in line with the requirements of the labor market and the goals of the new Algeria.
For his part, Khawaldiya Nabil, Chairman of the Education, Training, Higher Education, Scientific Research and Religious Affairs Committee, highlighted that vocational education is a strategic option and an essential lever for development, explaining that the parliamentary day aims to diagnose the reality of the sector and explore the prospects for its development in line with the requirements of the labor market, and to come up with practical recommendations that can be embodied in the service of our youth and the national economy.
For her part, Nassima Arhab, Minister of Vocational Training and Education, explained that the sector is a strategic and sovereign pillar in the process of building a diversified national economy based on knowledge and innovation, noting that the state has harnessed all capabilities to enhance employability and absorb unemployment through a training system linked to the needs of the national economy.
She also highlighted that Algeria has a national network of more than 1,200 training institutions, in addition to hundreds of accredited private institutions, which reflects the size of the bet on this sector as a basic pillar of sustainable economic and social development.
