Yesterday in Istanbul, the Secretary-General of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lunas Mokarmane, chaired the third session of the Algerian-Turkish political consultations, jointly with the Turkish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Musa Kulaklikaya, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the two parties praised the historical relations and the distinguished level reached by relations between the two countries in recent years, stressing the efforts made to consolidate the partnership in the economic and trade fields. The future bilateral agenda and ways to enhance cooperation were also reviewed in accordance with the vision of the two heads of state, Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The two sides also exchanged views on many regional and international issues of common interest, especially the situation in the Middle East and the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to the issue of Western Sahara and the Sahel-Saharan region.
