Algerian-Qatari contact to discuss prospects for partnership and joint coordination – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Monday, Prime Minister Seifi Gharib held a telephone call with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries.

During the conversation, the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, coupled with his wishes to the Qatari people for further prosperity and progress.

The call was an opportunity to confirm the strength of the fraternal ties between Algeria and Qatar, and to review the positive dynamic that characterizes bilateral cooperation in several fields, in line with the directives drawn up by the leaders of the two countries.

The two parties also stressed the importance of continuing joint work to develop the partnership, especially in the economic fields, while calling for the activation of cooperation mechanisms at various levels, allowing the implementation of joint investment projects and enhancing consultation and coordination on issues of common interest.

For his part, the Qatari official reiterated the strategic dimension of bilateral relations, expressing the greetings of His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar to the President of the Republic, and his country’s readiness to continue working with Algeria to advance bilateral cooperation in various fields.
