The star of Algerian origin, Isaac Hajjar, has achieved a historical achievement in the world of Formula 1 racing after he ascended to the podium in the Zandfurt Grand Prix in the Netherlands.
The stones (Racing Bulls) set out from the fourth place on the start line, but thanks to his skill and intelligence, he succeeded in finishing the race in third place behind Australian Oscar Pastari (McLaren) and Dutch champion Max Verchtep (Red Ball).
Hajjar, who is competing with these races through a French license, faced difficult circumstances on a circuit described as hostility, but he managed to control his car in a distinctive way and showed high stability in driving. The race was distinguished by decisive moments, most notably his steadfastness against British George Russell, stressing that he is able to compete with senior drivers. After the end of the race, the 21 -year -old expressed his feelings, saying that the matter seemed to be “unrealistic”, stressing that he did not make any mistake and was intelligently keen to defend his position in front of his competitors.
Hajjar also explained that he relied on a precise strategy in defense against Charles Lockerer at the beginning of the race, as he slowed a little in the second sector to increase his speed in the third sector and maintain his position. He confirmed that he repeated the same tactic in front of George Russell, which enabled him to maintain his position until the finish line.
It is worth noting that this achievement records a joint station in the march of Isaac Hajjar, as it becomes one of the youngest drivers in the world who ran the podium in Formula 1. The first Arab driver officially enters the world championship races, which makes him an inspiration for Arab youth aspiring to penetrate elite sport.
The March of Karting races began before it graduated through the Formula 4 categories, regional formula, Formula 3 and Formula 2. He achieved a great turning point after winning the Monaco race in 2021, which caught the attention of the Red Bull Junior Team program led by Helmut Marco, which he described as “little Bruce”.
Since the beginning of the 2025 season, Hajjar has continued his brilliance with the “Racing Bulls” team alongside Japanese Yuki Tsunouda. He managed to score precious points in Saudi Arabia and Japan, as he reached the stage of the final experiments “Q3” in China and Suzuka, which made him describe as a pleasant surprise for this season.
Thus, Isaac Hajjar is proudly represented by Arab youth, and confirms that the borders can be overcome by will and talent. Today is the support of senior experts such as Rolklan clouds, former engineer of Sigastian Vettel, which enhances his ambitions to stabilize his position among Formula 1 stars for years to come.
