Algerian Customs participates in the 11th session of the Technical Implementation Authority of the Convention on the International Transport of Goods – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Director General of Algerian Customs, Major General Abdelhafid Bakhouch, participated in the city Genevaduring the work of the eleventh session of the Technical Implementation Body of the Convention on the International Transport of Goods, according to a statement by the General Directorate of Customs, today, Thursday.

The statement explained that this session was previously organized on March 10 and 11 United Nations Economic Commission for EuropeAlgeria’s participation reflects the Algerian Customs’ keenness to strengthen its presence in international forums and contribute to developing mechanisms to facilitate trade and simplify customs procedures.

According to the same source, this participation also allows for the exchange of experiences with various customs administrations, which would support the smooth flow of trade exchanges and keep pace with modern transformations in transportation systems and international transit of goods.
