Algeria wins first place in the World Military Cross-Country Championship – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Lieutenant General Saïd Changriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, extended his warm congratulations to the National Military Cross-Country Team after it won first place in the world according to the team standings in the 60th edition of the World Military Cross-Country Championship.

Lieutenant General Changriha praised the honorable results achieved by the military sports delegation, wishing all athletes more successes and honoring Algeria in international forums.

The Algerian national military team was crowned during the championship activities organized by the International Council for Military Sports in the city of Trikala, Greece, which lasted from February 25 to March 2, 2026.
