Algeria and Sudan tied 0-0, today, Wednesday, in Doha, at the opening of the first round of the fourth group of the Arab Cup – FIFA 2025 football championship, which Qatar is hosting from last Monday, until the 15th of this month of December.
Algeria is participating in this Arab Championship, with the reserve team, led by coach Majeed With a cow. He will face his Bahraini counterpart next Saturday, then the Iraqi national team next Tuesday.
The Algerian national team played the second half against Sudan with 10 players, after the right winger, Adam Ouanas, was sent off in the last moments of the first half for receiving two yellow cards.
The two teams ranked first and second in the group will qualify for the quarter-finals.
It is worth noting that Algeria is the holder of the Arab title. Which it won in the 2021 edition in Qatar, led by the same coach Madjid Bougherra.
