Algeria Telecom FORSA TIC Hackathon: a national platform for discovering and refining youth innovations – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Algeria Telecom continues to consolidate its role as a pivotal institution in the national technology system, by supporting and encouraging Algerian youth to innovate in the fields of information and communication technology. In this context, the Foundation organized from December 11 to 13, 2025, at the level of the National Higher School of Artificial Intelligence in Sidi Abdallah (Algiers), the FORSA TIC Hackathon.

This national technology competition brought together students, developers, and holders of innovative projects, united by a passion for innovation and modern digital technologies, in an interactive space that stimulates creativity and exchange of experiences.

Over the course of three days, participants worked under the slogan “From Idea to Impact: Transform Your Ideas into Innovation” to transform their ideas into smart and sustainable digital projects.

With a special focus on employing artificial intelligence techniques to create practical, value-added solutions.

The competitors benefited from the accompaniment and supervision of experts and specialists in artificial intelligence and information and communication technology.

Through technical workshops and intensive training sessions, they aimed to develop their skills and enhance the applicability and growth of their projects.

At the conclusion of the hackathon, nine winning teams were selected, and they will have the opportunity to be hosted for free within the Algeria Telecom incubator until their projects reach maturity.

The FORSA TIC Hackathon is a real platform for communication and excellence, and highlighting the innovative capabilities of Algerian youth.

It also represents a qualitative opportunity to gain national recognition and actually contribute to the development of the digital and technological system in Algeria.
