Algeria Telecom…a broad program to improve the quality of the Internet – New Algeria

Algeria Telecom launched a broad plan to strengthen and modernize its technical infrastructure across several states of the country, including the installation of 345 basic base stations for the Internet. Fourth generation G4 LTE – (eNodeB) across 44 states – depending on Company statement–
In its first phase, which will extend until next March, the program to strengthen the coverage network is currently being implemented by installing 195 basic base stations, in addition to the geographical expansion of the coverage of the fourth generation network in remote areas.
This strategic deployment of these new base stations aims to strengthen the network in areas with large population density, ensuring very high flows and improving the quality of use to become more stable and fast.
The new base stations, equipped with the latest technologies, will allow Algeria Telecom customers to respond to the growing and diversified demand for digital services and uses.
Additional installations are expected to be completed soon to ensure equal and effective coverage at the national level, during the second phase of the program, which will see the installation of at least 150 new 4G-LTE base stations.
