The Consumer Protection Organization warns against owning this car – New Algeria

In a statement today, Sunday, the Consumer Protection Organization warned against purchasing a “Suzuki Fronx,” noting that the results of the ANCAP automobile evaluation program showed that it received only one safety star out of five. The organization said that this rating reflects the car’s poor performance in basic crash tests and a low level of protection for adult passengers and children.

The organization explained in its statement that the rear seat belt failed during the frontal crash test, which led to it being released uncontrollably, leaving the dummy used in the test unprotected and subjected to a strong blow.

ANCAP also confirmed that this failure is rare but poses a significant risk, and that it has informed regulators in Australia and New Zealand of this.

In the same regard, the organization noted that these results highlight the importance of independent safety tests, warning passengers, especially in the back seats, of the potential risks in the event of an accident, and called on consumers to take these warnings into consideration before purchasing Fronx.
